It exists in all living things, though not everyone can use magick or even have access to it. Magick is a natural force throughout the multi-verse and on Athuras, it’s somewhat a fickle, but very potent source of power. Magick has been shown to bring down mountains, rain down lightning from the sky, and even help heal and close wounds and resurrect the dead!
It’s important to know though, what types of Magick the Empire offers knowledge and training in, and it’s important to know that magick exists in all living beings. It exists in humans, it exists in automatons, it exists in dwarves, it exists in every natural part of the world that one could imagine, but not every living thing in the world or even the Empire, can access this magick. Those that do have the potential to access the magick are of some of the rarest individuals out there. Those that can command the forces of the aether are individuals who can connect with it in ways that those that don’t understand it can’t possibly conceive. Listed below are paths of magick that the Empire offers.
Elemental Magick: The power to rain down fire and conjure elemental gales, and hurl balls of freezing icicles at one’s opponent is but the core fundamentals that one can learn with Elemental Magick. Elemental Magick focuses on the powers of the natural elements of the world, from the winds to the waters to the earth and to the fire and back again. While some only specialize in one or two elemental paths, it’s not uncommon to find someone who studies all of the elemental paths. Click Here For More...
Demonology Magick: The power to make demons bow at your feet is yours, if you have the right training. Demonology Magick focuses on the study and understanding of demons and how to use their power to one’s own gain. With demonology magick you can learn to summon high ranking demons to do your bidding, or even make deals with the King of Hell himself, Lucifer. Be wary, the devil is always in the details of the spell! Click Here for More...
Summoning Magick: To summon a creature from the Void, or to Summon a creature from sheer nothingness, the power to summon is one to take existing spiritual energy and give it a solid form. When one embraces the path of the summoner, they tie themselves to the supernatural world in a way that some Magian can’t properly explain. Summoning allows the Magian to bring forth spiritual energy into the world and give it life, to create a companion or ally to help fight for them. It’s also a path of understanding and enlightenment in the ways of Magick. Click Here for More...
Necromancy Magick: Whether you are forcing your target’s organs to putrefy or liquefy and vomit out of their bodies, or summoning the dead, a Necromancer has a different connection with the aether than other Magian. Where other Magian can focus on the elements, the Necromancer focuses on mastery of the dead and using the power of death to further their own gains. Most necromancers tend to be evil, however there have been those Necromancers that have been known to command whole armies of the undead for evil intentions. Study of Necromancy doesn’t corrupt the soul, but it can reveal darker natures of a person’s own soul. Click Here for More...
Conjuration Magick: Magick that is used to summon places, people, and things, is known as Conjuration Magick. With this magick a magian is able to manipulate the aether into bringing forth objects both mundane and useful. Conjuration magick can summon an already existing guardian from out of nowhere, or it can provide helpful lodgings in stormy or dangerous climates. The path of Conjuration is one filled with as much mystery and wonder as one might hope for. Click Here for More...
illusion Magick: It was thought to be lost to the realms, but this form of magick deals with illusions, deception of the senses, and the many veils that hide things or places from what they truly are. Powerful spells that can make a person believe they are hearing, seeing, and feeling things that aren't there, make an old ruin look like a grand palace, and using many faces to make an onlooker believe there are many of you.
