The Knight's Code of Chivalry

To give succor to women and orphans and to respect the Honor of women.
To refrain from wonton giving offense.
To live by Honor and for Glory but to despise pecuniary rewards.
To guard the Honor of fellow Knights.
To eschew unfairness, meanness and deceit.
To keep Faith and at all times to speak the truth.
To persevere to the end in any enterprise begun.
Never to refuse a challenge from an equal and never to turn your back upon a foe.

Knight Progression
The Knights can progress in the following ways:
- Adherence to the Code.
- Adherence to the Law.
- Adherence to fairness for all.
All logged instances of play for the Knights should be sent to the Lord Knight Templar and the DM.

To be a Knight within Meztrailov, they must undergo all the training that is required of them. If they should pass to become the level of Knight, gems will be given to them along with special armor that will mark them as a Knight of Meztrailov.
The Knights Will:
- At all times remember what Chivalry is.
- Remember what it means to be a Knight.
- Knights will still be chosen by aptitude.
Requirements of the Knights
No longer will reports be done for the Knights. They will advance on the requirements of each rank listed as following (all play must be logged and sent to the Lord Knight Templar and DM, or posted on the Forums with the link sent to the Lord Knight Templar and DM):
Page: The Page is given the official Knights Codex to which he is to learn and study a chapter a week and be tutored by the Lord Knight Templar. [LKT from this point on.] Along with this, the Page’s education is at first more academic. This means they learn to read and write (if not already taught.) They learn basic conduct. The Page follows his Master on his missions and tends to his horse, equipment and other needs. After four (mun) months of this work, the Page will then be tested on his knowledge as well as the purity of his heart. If the Page fails the test, then they are not eligible for Knighthood.
Squire: The Squire is the next step up from Page. If the would-be Knight has made it this far, then they are assigned to learn the next part of their education; Archery, Mounted Combat, Sword Skills and Melee Combat (hand to hand). The Squire is also given hide or simple leathers as well as basic equipment to familiarize their jobs. It is not uncommon for the Squire to record their deeds. To become the rank of Knight, one must prove himself in a dangerous quest. One (mun) year will pass before the trial of Knighthood will come upon the Squire. The time of completion of the quest is left to the discretion of the LKT. If the Squire fails this test, they will be reviewed for a possible second chance.
Knight: Upon reaching the rank of Knight you are held to a higher standard. You are noble, courageous, true and brave. Your duty to the people of Meztrailov and to the Throne has been undying. You have witnessed pain and misery and are the stronger for it. However, you must bear in mind you are a symbol of authority and power. You are a shining beacon of Truth and Justice. Violation of the Oaths you have taken will result in your demotion and possible subjection to Inquisition investigation. To reach the rank of Knight Protector requires an evaluation as well as a soul-baring done by both Emperoress Keara Bereou and the LKT. From this point on promotion is given through recognition of the Lord Knight Templar.
Knight Protector: The Knight Protector is not a title that comes easily. You have seen Brothers-in-Arms die, people fall and some horrors that are best left forgotten. It is at this stage you are able to take on three squires and train them in Knighthood. You are the best among your rank and are always turned to first.
Knight Templar: The blood you have shed in the name of the Throne has not gone unnoticed. The good deeds you have performed have not gone unnoticed. Your Sacred Oath is your mighty shield as you stand as a mighty beacon of Hope. You are a symbol of righteousness and you know no fear. Along with better armor, you also gain access to the Hall of Heroes. [To be added later.]
Lord Knight Templar: You have shed blood, tears and have held Brothers-in-Arms as they have perished. You might is legend amongst the ranks and none dare question your command. By accepting this title you accept that nothing but the best is acceptable.

The Knight’s Mantle

Type: Alchemical; Mage Material conversion
Description: This armor was crafted by the efforts of the Alchemists and Mages of Meztrailov, Kirinval, and Mala’Dau. This armor, while bulky in size, is protected and enchanted to ensure the Knight’s Dominance is never questioned. This armor makes the Knights akin to a Warrior God on the battlefield.
Effect: Two enchantments chosen by the Knight (approved by the LKT and DM)
Effect: Grants the Rally Ability.
Rally! – Your allies refuse to give in to the enemy no matter how many will die in the end.
Oathbinder
Slot: Main-Hand [Two-handed only!]
Type: Broadsword; Broad Axe; War Hammer
Description: While not always the first choice of weapon due to its size, this is granted to the Knight for attaining their rank. This weapon is constantly aglow with an unknown light. It is a shining beacon of Hope and Strength.
Effect: Two enchantments chosen by the Knight (approved by the LKT and DM)
Effect: Once per combat scenario you may increase your damage and may also give healing to target allies.

Description: This crafted Helm is custom fit for the wearer to complete the new set of armor they ascertain. This armor is custom crafted and allows for one augment slot.
Oath Enforcer
Slot: Off Hand

Description: Large and made of enchanted and tempered metals, this shield is an honored addition to the Knight’s armory.
Effect: Two enchantments chosen by the Knight (approved by the LKT and DM)
Effect: At one moment, the bearer may successfully take down an opponent no matter how good the enemy is.

Lord Knight Templar -
The Lord Templar’s Righteousness

Description: This righteous armor is the most prestigious or armors granted to the Lord Knight Templar. This armor is a testament to the Lord Knight Templar’s dedication.
Effect: Four enchantments chosen by the Lord Knight Templar (and approved by the DM)
Effect: Grants the ‘Devastation’ ability.
Devastation – Suddenly all damage taken by the Lord Knight Templar is returned to the original attacker and one other nearest the Lord Knight Templar.
Greaves of the Great Templar

Type: Greaves
Effect: One enchantment chosen by the Lord Knight Templar (and approved by the DM)
Lord Knight Templar’s Justice
Slot: Main/Off-hand
Type: One-handed
Effect: Two enchantments chosen by the Lord Knight Templar (and approved by the DM)
