Demons
In all worlds of the Dimensions, there are creatures of the Light, and creatures of the Darkness. Throughout time there have been Demons. Demons to destroy. Demons to seduce. Demons to Corrupt. Meztrailov is no different. Demons are a part of everyday life within the Empire and the world of Athuras. Some of them have integrated with the Citizens of Meztrailov. Others still roam the lands carefully plotting evil against the Emperor. Others are roaming the lands staying as far away from Meztrailov as possible.

- Average Lifespan: Infinite
- Languages Known: Infernal, any language that is not Angelic/Divine

Racial Traits
- All magick damage, or demonology spell, is considered Unholy and injury caused is Unholy (unless otherwise stated in the spell).
- All Demons have a high resistance against Poisons. But they are not immune to all.
- All Demons have a high success for all Unholy Spells (this includes Necromancy).
- True Form: The true form for a Demon is a horrific thing. In this form they are the true horror of Lucifer himself. When in this True Form, the Demon shall deal pure Unholy Damage. All prayers and spells will deal double the normal Unholy Damage. In True Form, the Demon has a chance to Curse a Target.
Please Note: Only a full Demon has the ability to reach True Form. It will not work for Half Breeds. In an SL setting, the True Form shall only work for the rest of the night. When the True Form fades, a cool down of 24 mun hours must be adhered to before True Form can be taken again. Also when in the True Form, all those around the Demon must try and resist as Demons are of such Unholy creation that they drive someone either insane or corrupt them. Humans and those akin to Humans (Elves, Druada, Immortals) have a harder time resisting a Demon in True Form. Those that are of Angels and those akin to Angels (Vampires, Weres, Elementals, Fae) will have a harder time being affected, but can be affected if circumstances are right.
Racial Abilities
- Destructive Desires: All attacks against enemies, including Holy creatures, will have a higher success.
- Curse a Target: Cursing a Target shall cause the target to being failing at things they would normally succeed at.
- Charts of Infernal Guidance: As with Angels, Demons themselves have particular people they pray to in the Circles of Hell. Though unlike Angels, the Demons have more of a risk in who will answer their Prayers. Despite praying to someone directly. On the chart below, are the Lords of Hell and what bonus they will give to that Demon. The Demon will invoke a Lord of Hell dependent on who they need in that time.

Blessing and Payment
You have summoned the three headed canine known as Cerberus. The guardian is not pleased to be pulled from his post, but to prevent any of the living from passing into the gates, he will fight with you and his attacks are considered lethal damage.
Andrastiel’s Guidance grants the Demon the ability to automatically see in the Dark. However, Andrastiel is not a kind Mistress, and when in the presence of light, all perception suffers. This suffering causes the demon to resort to covering their eyes automatically. Demons who invoke Lady Lillith’s unholy guidance at gifted with a charismatic presence unlike any other. When interacting with others Lilith's guidance increases success for Charming. However, as with any Infernal Bargain, you will not love the cost. At the end of the 24 hours, the demon in the presence of a holy source takes Holy Damage for each minute they are within the presence of a holy aligned individual or object. The Demon who invokes the guidance of Abraxas are granted HP Regeneration for the next 24 hours. However, because to drink from the well of the Beast of Hunger is treacherous even for demons, you have tasted a bit more than most should, and are subject to irrational desires to try and eat meat of any kind (Friend or Foe), and are subject to trying to resist eating flesh (Friend or Foe), in a hunger Frenzy. When invoking the infernal guidance from Salacia, the Demon, for the next 24 hours, any income gained is doubled, however, the slightest gem or sparkle will send the Demon into a jealous rage if they are not able to make a resistance. Invoking Belial’s infernal guidance turns the demon into a furious mass of psychotic fury. However, the demon’s wrath is such that it is locked in a Berserker state for 24 hours, in which the ability to tell friend from foe is impossible (For 24 Hours, you risk attacking anyone and everyone if you fail the resistance roll). When invoking the Lord of Heretics infernal blessing, your very influence becomes unsettling to those around you. While the infernal guidance is active, the demon has the ability to spark doubt and confusion in even the most faithful of subjects by extending one’s influence. However, as heretics suffer the most, even the slightest amount of pious activity will cause revulsion and agony for 24 Hours. When you summon Asmodeus, your ability to tell friend from foe is gone, however, you are the epitome of the murderous depths of Hell. For 24 Hours, double all damage that the demon deals, however, they will attack anyone and anything that even slightly offends them (Possibly resulting in their own purging). Infernal Guidance from Oriax is a thing of legend, unheard of by many living mortals throughout the Multi-Verse, so to receive their blessing is to receive unheard of unholy blessing. Oriax’s blessing grants the Demon an automatic success on deceptions, intimidations, and charms made against NPC's and PC's, however, this blessing removes the ability to hide in a human form, and thus your true form is revealed. To receive guidance from the Lord of Hell itself is to be considered awful and awe inspiring. One must ask one’s self, what they did that the Lord of Hell himself interferes. Infused with the Infernal Guidance, a portion of the Lord of Hell’s essence infuses itself in your own essence. For 24 hours, you increase your strength, stamina, your health, and increase damage dealt. However, as with such power, comes awful prices. After a full 24 hours, for a full 48, the Demon is reduce to the strength of a human; as to be infused with such power is to also invoke the personal amusement of the Lord Hell who rips it away to merely toy with the Demon to remind them who truly is in command. |
